Santander’s Digital Investment Adviser

A simple digital tool for a new kind of investor

The value of investments and income that comes from them can go down as well as up and you may get back less than the full amount you invest.  All investments carry varying degrees of risk. Investments should be held for the medium to long term (5+ years). To invest through us you must be 18 or over.  Fees and minimum amounts apply.

Santander has a long and proud history of helping people to make the most of their money. We’re here to help you prosper and our investment services are one of the ways we aim to do this.

We understand, though, that your financial needs are personal to you. So here you’ll find articles, videos and guides to help you work out if investing is the right path for you and your money and, if it is, how you can go about making the most of it.

Please remember the value of investments, and any income from them, can go down as well as up and you may get back less than you put in. If you are not prepared to have your money invested for five years or more it may not be right for you.

Welcome to the Investment Hub

At Santander we want to make it easier than ever for you to benefit from the world of investing.  We’ve created the Investment Hub as a way for you to start investing and conveniently track your investment performance online.

If you’re new to investing, a great way to start with confidence is by using our Digital Investment Adviser. In around 25 minutes it leads you through each step online and creates a personalised recommendation to suit your needs.

For the confident investor, the Investment Hub is a convenient and comprehensive way to buy, sell and track a wide range of fund investments from Santander Asset Management and many others.

Alternatively you can arrange to see one of our financial advisers.

Stay in control

You can get started from £20 a fund a month or a lump sum of £100. You can also transfer money you have with other providers, and add to your investments or sell them whenever you want (although investing might not be right for you if you’re definitely looking to access your money within five years).

Make tax savings

Invest through a Stocks and Shares ISA to make the most of available tax savings or choose an Investment Account if your ISA allowance is already used up. In 2017, as parent company of Santander ISA Managers Limited, we were awarded the MoneyAge Award for best stocks and shares ISA provider.

Track everything online

At Santander we can help you to invest and keep saving too. Our Online Banking service lets you see all your money with Santander together – including your investments – so it’s easier to make the most of what you have.

Important Information

Please remember the value of your investments and any income from them can go down as well as up and you may get back less than the full amount you invest. When you invest you should be prepared to have your money invested for the medium to long term, typically at least 5 years.

With traditional savings your capital will grow when interest is added, however over time the real value will be affected by inflation. With investments, your capital isn’t guaranteed to grow, however they have more potential to balance the effects of inflation.

The tax treatment of your savings and investments, including the favourable tax treatment of ISAs, may be subject to change in the future and depends on your individual circumstances.
